Weather

The states in which most of these colonies are, Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, have a sub-tropical climate.
The weather variates a lot between seasons:
In summer, the weather is very hot and dry with very little precipitation, normally with a temperature between 25°C and 40°C.
In winter, the weather is cold and humid with high precipitation. The temperature is normally between 10°C and 20°C.
